GARMENT ALERTS

The Garment Manufacturing Industry has come a long ways in improving the quality of the products they offer.  The Federal Trade Commision has enacted The Care Lable Rule and other regulations for the clothing manufacturing and the retail industry to follow to ensure that the consumer is protected against defective garments. However, defective garments do end up in retail stores and unsuspecting consumers at times pay high prices for these garments. Most defects are revealed after a garment is cleaned. More often then not the dry cleaners are being blamed for garments not holding up to normal wear and tear and normal cleaning methods.

Most Professional Dry Cleaners associations periodically inform their member Dry Cleaners of such defective garments.  The library of the such defective articles is growing day by day, and thus it is impossible for Dry Cleaners to formulate a system within their process that can weed out every such defective garments prior to processing.
Though the idea of generally publishing such information is legally treacherous, we have obtained written consent from National Cleaners Association so as to inform our valued customers from whom we have received permission to send them in an email information of such known defective garments.
Customers receiving such information has benefited by avoiding buying such garments.  If you wish to receive such information from us please join our email list.
